Our Civils and Trades division is focussed on providing the highest calibre of staff through their specialised knowledge of working exclusively in the construction, rail and civil engineering sectors and have a proven track record of supplying staff into blue chip organisations in both the public and private sector.

Supply of individual staff or of self-contained Civils Delivery Teams complete with vehicles, plant and equipment for infrastructure enhancement and renewal schemes across the country.

In addition, we offer attendance at client planning meetings to review forthcoming works and the coordination of all ISS teams, with daily and weekly progress reporting.
We also provide project logistics teams to support multi-site working, delivering materials and additional plant and removing spoil.
With our reputable industry experience, market knowledge and rail accreditations we support contractors with skilled Mechanical & Electrical operatives for overground and underground projects, both building services and lineside works. Our focus is to deliver the highest calibre of staff to even the most complex of projects and with 8 depots located across Scotland, England and Wales we are able to support you anywhere in the UK.
Our services include:
- Ability to recruit and manage major M&E workforces of over 100 staff on single sites
- Task specific specialist training as needed
- Specific compliance administration for security clearances and for induction where projects require
- 24/7 On Call team for out of hours support
Our Master Vendor service is a tailor-made solution for customers that deal with multiple suppliers of contingent labour. The service delivers a transparent and consistent approach to supplier management. Using our experience in the rail sector we engage with customers existing suppliers to implement a fair and transparent tiering system to maintain the availability of contingent labour without the hassle of managing multiple supplier relationships.

Through the implementation of a proven administration system we take on the responsibility for all administration duties eliminating the need for our customers to manage varying timesheet, billing, compliance and reporting processes. We monitor the performance of the supply chain and provide a suite of management and KPI reporting.
At the heart of the service is our Master Vendor Software. Developed in conjunction with a FTSE-250 customer, the system is an innovative solution that builds upon decades of experience operating a supply chain within the complex rail sector. The software provides customers with control and visibility of the supply chain ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and compliance with billing processes. Our team of technology specialists
work with each customer to ensure the system is aligned to their processes and procedures – including the option to fully integrate with customers existing planning, rostering and finance systems.
