As one of the founding members of the Astrea Business Club we have been delighted to once again support Astrea Academy Dearne in Doncaster with the year 10 mock interviews. We particularly enjoyed the fact that this year we could go into the school and meet the pupils taking part in person as last year we had to undertake the interviews on-line. We have also provided, in conjunction with our training partner Skillstep, a number of books for the school careers library in relation to interviews skills and techniques.
Pictured is one of our Directors Colin Kelly and Paul Hodgeson from Skillstep Training presenting the books to the Academy’s Principal Joanne Wilson who thanked them for the donation and said the books would take pride of place on their central careers shelf.
We are planning to support the careers department further with a join presentation, including one of one of our Clients Network Rail to talk about career opportunities for young people within the rail industry.
