ISS Labour have designed, manufactured and introduced a state-of-the-art rechargeable battery and LED lighting system for works in tunnels, embankments and confined spaces. The battery and lighting strip are designed to replace existing link-lighting systems in order to meet our clients’ carbon emission targets and reduce noise pollution on site.
The Capellastrip™ lighting strip is five times brighter than traditional link lighting and is fully compliant with the 2021 “flicker” regulations. Once fitted the lights are unobtrusive and can be safely left in situ whilst trains are running. This means that valuable possession time is not lost at the beginning and end of each shift, thereby increasing productivity and engineering output.
The Capellastrip™ system can be powered through a traditional mains power supply, temporary site generators or using our New Vitacell™ battery technology which requires no maintenance, is fuel free, silent running and has zero carbon emissions.
