Our Head of Ecology David Spencer represented ISS Labour at the annual International Bat Conference held at the weekend.
The National Bat Conference hosted by the Bat Conservation Trust is the biggest event in the bat calendar featured a great selection of talks, a topical panel discussion, 2 workshop sessions as well as lots of networking opportunities.
David commented “We had an incredible time, there were a host of great presentations, with speakers sharing their expertise and insights on the bat industry. The overview of the newly released Good Practice Guidelines (4th edition) was particularly interesting, not least, detailing the changes in survey requirements going forward. Thank you to the organisers and all the people I had the pleasure of meeting”.
