Job Title:  Rail Resourcer
Reporting To: Resource Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accurate recording of candidate and client information on the recruitment database
  • Attend wash-up meetings
  • Attendance at all HSQE safety meetings
  • Attendance at resource meetings
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, employee rights and responsibilities
  • Comply with company management systems, payroll and billing policies and procedures including accurate database management
  • Conduct at least one site visit per month
  • Continual re-certification, assessment and development of the workforce
  • Develop an understanding of market rates and conditions within your sector
  • Development and management of resource to meet client requirements
  • Ensure all workers are compliant for the activity they are booked for by the client
  • Ensure staff work in a safe manner and environment
  • Ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources on the contract and any subsequent recovery
  • Ensure we have a steady flow of newly qualified Apprentice PTS holders, strategically place these to assist with their learning and development and their performance monitored through feedback
  • Identify up-skilling opportunities within the workforce
  • Manage TCM’s within the core gangs ensure all duties are undertaken.
  • Manage the collation of information required for any accidents/incidents.
  • Provide first line support for all enquiries
  • Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation
  • Provide support to ensure that the candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
  • Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates
  • Seek support and escalate non-compliance where appropriate
  • To ensure suitable resources are secured and managed
  • To liaise with clients to assess and plan for forthcoming resource requirements
  • To manage the fleet, fuel & PPE
  • To recruit additional staff for new and existing contracts
