ISSL OLE Project team respond to emergency embankment works – Merefield

Our OLE Project team have successfully completed works on an emergency embankment scheme in Northampton for our client – Murphy Group.

As part of the works a new OLE structure / Cantilever has been installed and re-droppering of 2 spans undertaken and then the redundant OLE structure removed. Our OLE Engineering Project Manager (Natalie Dickinson) managed the procurement of materials in less than 1 week and had a new OLE structure fabricated in record time which ensured the challenging deadlines were met and works commenced in less than 2 weeks from receiving an order.
Our OLE installation teams led by our OLE Construction Manager (Dan Obeada) and OLE Supervisor (Alan Thompson) installed the new OLE structure in less than 40 minutes which was a first for our OLE project team. All site documentation and ITP sheets completed ready for handback and the site left safe for the passage of Electric Traction.
The OLE structure was transported to site with our own internal Hi-Ab wagon.
Phil Axon (Head of OLE Engineering) commented, “a great team effort by our OLE Project team to respond and meet our clients expectations and another first for our OLE Projects division in installing OLE structures”.
